Among other solutions, Livable facilitates a Ratio Utility Billing System (RUBS) that equitably divides costs amongst tenants, based on occupancy and/or square footage, while factoring in common area and in-unit amenities.
Step 1
Enroll Your Building
Use Livable’s intuitive onboarding interface to input building, unit, and tenant details. We’ll share a lease addendum for each tenant to sign so you can get them enrolled, legally.
Step 2
Sync or Send Us Your Bills
Giving us access to your building’s utility bills will allow our system to work its magic immediately: tracking usage, clueing you into problem areas, and alerting you when something seems off.
Step 3
Start Saving
We’ll divide the costs between the units fairly and accurately based on parameters you can customize. Your tenants pay you directly, or through the Livable portal, reimbursing you for what was once a sunk cost.
